I am committed to God and having a relationship with Him. Because of that I am committed to loving the Church as His Bride. But the Church can be a whore.

I have sat for years slowly pulling apart knots in my life caused by the church. I’m still pulling those knots apaprt. In reading my processing and thoughts, I’m hoping that you’ll find language to describe your experiences and find standards and questions that may help you in the future.

I’m writing anonymously so that I may be able to pull from my life experiences. I’ve worked in multiple churches and ministries and I would hate to have my experiences misattributed to the wrong organization. I also believe those involved deserve their privacy.
